My favorite
Yosemite Park
After San Francisco, I drove to Yosemite, a national park that left me speechless. Two nights in a hotel in the heart of Yosemite Valley, surrounded by majestic mountains and waterfalls, were an unforgettable experience. I was able to do a few short hikes and admire the sublime waterfall. I spent 2 days with my head held high, I couldn't get enough of it, it's really impressive. My only regret is that I only spent two days there.

Activities I recommend
Go Car in San Fransisco
Do this when you arrive and you'll do the whole city tour - it's great. I opted for the 3-hour tour. Afterwards, you can go back to the places you liked best on the following days.
Whale watching in Montrey
An impressive sight. You just have to be patient, but I was lucky enough to see a good thirty of them, including one that made an incredible bucket out of the water!
Hollywood Studios
I recommend going during the week to avoid the crowds. This park is so immersive and the attractions really well done. It's a must-see if you're heading down to Los Angeles.
Burgers, of course!
My favorite: Gott's roadside. But there are so many places to eat it. Some will stick to the in 'n out and others will prefer the lesser-known places.
My advice
I really recommend renting a car to explore the California coast. It's so free and the views are incredible at every stop. What about Yosemite? Three days there is just the minimum to see everything. The beauty of the scenery is breathtaking. Even if you're thinking of leaving Los Angeles sooner, the coast is well worth exploring in its entirety. Every stop is worth it!
