Guided tour of Lyon. You'll discover France's second-largest city, located at the confluence of the Rhône and Saône rivers. From Fourvière, where you'll enjoy a sublime panorama of the city, to the banks of the Saône with their painted walls. Admire the Hôtel de Ville (outside) on the Place des Terreaux and the Opéra National (outside). In the afternoon, visit Old Lyon. During this historic stroll, you'll follow the narrow streets and famous traboules to discover the world of silk and the traditional techniques of the canuts. Starting at the Boulevard de la Croix-Rousse, these famous narrow passages, both secret and full of memories, tell the story of the canuts, silk weavers of the 19th century. Free evening to discover the illuminated city. Every year, Lyon lights up for four consecutive nights. The Festival of Lights showcases the exceptional heritage of Lyon's Presqu'île, its monuments and squares, in scenic displays using light as well as video, sound and the performing arts.
