The climate is tropical, hot, and humid all year round. There are two seasons: the dry season (April to October), ideal for traveling with clear skies and little rain, and the rainy season (November to March), where showers are more frequent but often short, with sunshine afterwards.

Balinese cuisine is rich in flavors and spices. Try Nasi Goreng (fried rice), Mie Goreng (fried noodles), Satay (grilled skewers), Babi Guling (roast suckling pig), and Lawar (mix of vegetables, meat, and spices). Don’t miss the fresh tropical fruits and fruit juices.
