There are no land snakes in New Zealand. The isolation of the archipelago has allowed the development of a unique fauna, mainly composed of birds.
The official currency is the New Zealand Dollar (NZD). Payment by bank card is very easy and widespread throughout the country.
The inhabitants are called New Zealanders, affectionately nicknamed “Kiwis”.
The official languages are English, Maori, and New Zealand Sign Language. English is the language used daily.
In New Zealand, the plugs are type I (three flat prongs, the same as in Australia). An adapter is therefore essential.
